Handmade White Top

I love craft, time flies when I am working on a piece. Be it the mosaic art, sewing or crochet. I do it when I am happy, when I am upset or when I want to release some stress. Things have been crazy the past couple of months and it peaked last week. So I decided to work on a past pattern and to perfect it with a lovely beige-ish material that I got from the Seoul trip.

It is slightly translucent but since this is a top that I would need to wear an inner slip, I think it is perfect for what I have in mind *smile.

I took out the pattern and started working on it earnestly. Time flies and it turned out to be a good afternoon after all! I found myself thinking nothing about the mountain-ton of work, but focusing only on making this piece as best as I could :)

Two and half hour later, the top was ready! I love the drappy flow, the whitish-beige and how versatile it could be. I can wear it as a simple top with my shorts, I can theme it with a long dress, I can wear it with jeans with a cardigan thrown on. This is going to stay with me for a long time. Or I can make a couple more of this since I still have tons of the same material!

The magic of craft works again!
