Free $100 credit from ActiveSG!

There is a $100 credit for any one who sign with ActiveSG

The sign up is free :)  I just found out this great stuff from Sunday papers, and it is available to any Singaporean and Singapore PR.

A visit to the public gym is $2.50 and with this credit, 40 sessions area out there for free, horray!

I never know unlimited ActiveSG swimming complex membership is only $10 per adult per month, and $5 for kids per month. I went through the list of swimming complexes and it seems like all the public swimming complexes are in the list.

I went to Sengkang Swimming Pool a couple of times when my nieces were there for swimming class. I was so amazed with the pool facilities; indoor pool, jaccuzi, water slides. This is so different from the days where swimming complexes provided three different pool with different depth.

The above photos were taken from http://www.singaporeswimming.com/pools/sengkang-swimming-pool/.

You can also use the credit to subsidise up to 30% of (sport) classes that you are interested to take up.

I would check if the credits can go towards booking of squash court :>

Hot Yoga 30 Days Challenge

I have always wanted to do the hot yoga 30 days challenge, mainly because I wanted to test my resilience. And also to see if I can get nose to touch my knee and if my chest could touch my thighs by bending at my hips after 30 days of practice. I have been dabbling in yoga since my early twenties but I am just not flexible. I would like to think I have pretty strong legs though! I have heard after 21 days of doing the same routine, your body would attune to the routine and wonderful things would start to happen.

Therefore, I signed up for the 30 days challenge with Hom Yoga in Nov 2012.

30 sessions had since passed; my nose did not touch my knees and my chest was still far away from touching my thighs. Well, I wasn't too disappointed or surprise. After all, I did complete the challenge and my pose had improved a lot.

As the last session came and passed, I had also come to realise time flies when I had a mission on hand. The daily routine of making sure that my appointments fit around the session, taking the extra effort to go to the studio especially when it was raining were all part of the challenge. I am glad I did something for myself in 2012!
